Pinellas County comissioners Nancy Bostock and Neil Brickfield, both of whom were not supporters of public tranist in Pinellas County, were defeated in the elections by Charlie Justice and Janet Long, respectively, who have expressed interest for supporting a one-cent tax referendum for light rail in Pinellas County. That should tip the scales in favor of public transit, light rail, and bike path projects in Pinellas County with the current exisiting makeup of county comissioners.

Who will be next to come on board ???  Now that Sunrail is under construction and with All Aboard Florida (FECI) in planning  stages for 2014.  Looking for the next Florida Amtrak/Intra-state or commuter rail project to make its way off the drafting board to shovel ready.  Will JTA Jacksonville and/or Tampa Bay Regional Transportation Planning Organization be next ?  Tune-in for page two,  ________, have a good day.
