But what does that mean for the federal funds allocated to it?

Close to 2 out of 3 in a survey said the traffic conditions are getting worse and I could not agree more. I am glad the Poincianna extension opened recently, making it easier for me to get to Winter Park and downtown Orlando. Paying for parking and tolls is not worth it for all the delays.
It is strange that some of the Orlando amusement parks favored the construction of the toll roads, and ultimately wound up being closed themselves to make way for them, when a rail line would have kept them in place; more lost tourist revenue for Florida to help keep our taxes down. Needless to say, lost property taxes from other homes and businesses demolished to make room for the additional toll lanes.
FDOT ought to be renamed "Forever Driving On Toll roads".
